Why I Built This
Every year my friends and I try to plan a trip — and every year it dies in a group chat. As a software engineer, I built brotrip.ai to fix that: AI-powered coordination that gets you from “we should do a trip” to a confirmed itinerary, fast.
Before brotrip.ai, I spent years at American Airlines building systems that coordinate schedules, routing, and logistics across thousands of daily flights. I learned firsthand how hard it is to get complex, multi-variable systems to agree on a single outcome — and how powerful the right tooling can be when it actually works.
I also come from a robotics background, where the hardest problems aren't the mechanical ones — they're the coordination and decision-making ones. Getting multiple systems (or people) to converge on a shared plan is genuinely difficult. That's the same problem brotrip.ai solves, just for group travel instead of robot arms.
